Local Aged Care Facilities

There are several aged care facilities in the neighbourhood. We have a small team that provides a monthly service with reserved sacrament communion in three of these and a twice monthly Eucharist at 3.30pm on the first and third Wednesdays at the RSL Menora Gardens Chapel.

We are planning to extend this ministry to other facilities where appropriate. We welcome requests from Aged Care Facilities. We are also planning to provide other kinds of ministry where possible.

Home Communion for shut-in people

We take reserved sacrament communion monthly to those who are no longer able to come to worship on Sunday. Some of our parishioners visit elderly people to keep them in touch with the church community.

We welcome the opportunity to meet and bring sacrament to those who have moved into this area from parishes some distance away.
